Low income telephone customers may qualify for reductions in their phone charges. Lifeline services are available to customers if they receive benefits from W2, Medical Assistance, Supplemental Income, Food Stamps, Low-Income Household Energy Assistance Plan (LIHEAP), Wisconsin Homestead Tax Credit and Badger Care or are at or below 135% of Federal Poverty Level.

For eligible customers, Lifeline service provides eligible residential customers with reduced monthly local phone charges.

Applicants for these reduced charges must provide the Telephone Company with written permission to verify their eligibility for the programs.
