Call Waiting

You can stop worrying. Call Waiting lets you or anyone in your family talk as long as you like and calls will still get through.  When your phone is being used, a Call Waiting alert tone indicates another person is trying to call in.

You can put the first person on “hold,” while you answer the second incoming call, and you can switch back and forth between the two calls.

When you hear the “beep tones,” depress and release the switchhook to transfer between your two calls.

Cancel Call Waiting Feature: Enables customers to temporarily disable the Call Waiting feature for the duration of one phone call.

1)      Go off hook and wait for the dial tone.

2)      Dial *70 from the touch tone phone.

3)      Wait for the dial tone, then dial number desired.

It’s like having two phone lines at much less cost.
